I started to look at piseogs/ seanfhocails of my home, unravelling the taperstry of folklore and superstitions that inspire Irish domesticity. through textiles, I translate these traditions into tangible pieces that celebrate the everyday objects found in irish households, each carrying its own profound connection to collective memories and the sayings that accompany them. With my art, I offer to viewers a comforting sense of belonging.
